If you are looking for a subtitling software tool, this is the most complete one, that supports all the subtitles formats. Subtitle Workshop makes subtitle creating/editing/converting tasks self-explanatory, so that even a kid can use this software.
The application includes the following features:

This software is extremely customizable, can join up an indefinite number of subtitles, and those subtitles may be in different formats with different FPS.
You can get FPS from video either without using DirectX (only supports AVI) and using DirectX (supports all video formats, but it is slower). The application is able to choose which subtitle extensions to associate and make FPS conversion with one click.
Subtitle Workshop can synchronize subtitles to a video by four methods:
a) simple adjust, first and last dialogs
b) synchronize using two points
c) adjust to synchronized subtitles
d) advanced subtitle adjust
There are many different types of saving:
- save on exit program/close subtitle
- Save work automatically every X minutes
- Save as backup
There is also such a feature as External preview, which makes it possible to preview subtitles in your favourite movie player.
There are two possible splits subtitles: simple and advance. |
